Pekin Noodle Parlor is one of the six recipients of its 2023 America's Classics Award. A Restaurant and Chef Awards category, the America's Classics Award is given to locally owned restaurants that have timeless appeal and are beloved regionally for quality food that reflects the character of its community.
The 2023 James Beard Award show was held in Chicago, IL at the Lyric Opera House where the Pekin was honored with this prestigious award. It was an unbelievable experience filled with fun, excitement, & a lot of food. Jerry Tam accepts the award for his hard work & dedication alongside of his father, & all those who came before him. This award marks a generational milestone for the family's legacy.
